Children & adults benefit
Ages 5-8 (*see below) qualify for theYoung Learner's Reading Program.
First-stage: apply mental tools, lower the level of confusion, improve focus & regulate energy
Second-stage: hands-on methods creating words and concepts three dimensionally using non-hardening clay and tools to correct auditory perceptions. Then the body's senses can work in HARMONY: balance, timing and movement as well as vision and hearing working together with the brain.
Third stage: apply these tools to your life and train an adult helper who will assist you or your child with the home-study portion of the program. Parents, grandparents or teachers interested in helping are invited on the last morning of the program. Together we work together to adapt the new tools and methods. Everything necessary for the home-study work is included.

*Children 5-8 years old qualify for the Young Learners Reading Program. Research studies show that young children exposed to Davis methods are significantly more likely to qualify for gifted education programs. In four years of research trials no children were referred to special education services. Basic word recognition skills were also among the highest levels for this age group. You will learn to use the tools to help you assume control and responsibility for your own behavior. Here are some noticeable behaviors that we address:
- difficulty taking turns
- acting before thinking
- difficulty focusing
- excessive movement
- struggles with organization skills
- focus too quickly shifts from one activity to another
- fails to finish one task before moving on
- easily distractedus

Math Mastery
Davis Math Mastery: Visual-spatial learners may become easily confused by mathematical words and symbols. Mastering math terms and symbols, while using Davis tools (while focused), will allow you to learn math more easily! Math difficulties, dyscalculia, often accompany dyslexia and ADD symptoms.
