We start with the Initial Consultation and Perceptual Ability Assessment.  These guide us in determining if the Davis Correction Program will successfully meet your need. The Perceptual Ability Assessment screens for a visual perceptual skill that most dyslexics have.  Additionally, a reading assessment is available to determine current reading levels (used as needed).  From here we can begin addressing your questions in the areas of reading, writing, math and/or attention-focus. You will be able to determine what your goals for the Program will be.

Next:

Once the Consultation is completed, and it's determined that you are a good candidate for the Program, you can reserve the dates for your Program.  In addition, the Program best suited to your needs can now be determined.

Program Week:

During your Program you will learn all the tools necessary for addressing your goals.  Your support person will receive daily updates on the work we're doing--along with a special time set aside on Friday to learn more about how you will begin using your tools from the Program at home. 

After the Program:

After the week of the Program you will continue working with the Davis tools at home.  These will be the same tools learned and practiced during the week of your Program; you will continue working with clay, the mental tools, and Symbol Mastery. At this point you are entitled to receive, as needed, up to (3) two hour visits for review.  You'll also be able to call or email OnPoint Learning with any questions you might have once you are back home.
